The Web Poetry Corner - James Bredin - War to end all Wars

War to end all Wars

by

James Bredin

Fight for freedom; what a crock,
Fight for liberty; put a sock,
Peace is what comes after a war,
Press a button while you soar,
Rearrange and change regimes,
3 miles up canít hear screams,
Bake Baghdad to the ground,
Call it peace; donít confound,
No other way to stop the terror,
Donít delay; increase the error,
This Sadam has got to go,
It wont be done easy and slow,
Making moves in New York,
Will not get rid of Iraqi dork.
Have I gone completely mad?
Any relatives in Baghdad?
