The Web Poetry Corner - James Bredin - Pedophile Priests
There once was a pedophile priest,
Who wanted an alter boy feast,
He had to hide his terrible ways,
And preach about sin on Sundays.
And the bishop thought he was great,
Because he too was once his mate,
Sang hymns and blessed all the boys,
Intent on using them as toys.
Then they all went to confession,
Skipped telling ‘bout their obsession,
The bishop said they could be cured,
The same institute where he endured.
Called after a saint of course,
Bow your head, genuflect, endorse,
Keep secrets locked in vaults,
Dressed in vestments hide those faults.
Preach the gospel of Saint Luke,
From a pulpit - make me puke,
Continue then and say the mass,
While looking at some guy’s ass.
Capital punishment would do,
These pedophile priests in lieu,
Of a couple of years confined,
With other friends so inclined.
