The Web Poetry Corner - James Bredin - Canadian Terrorist Immigration
Canadian Terrorist Immigration
Minister of Immigration let them all in,
Eighty-one terrorist types and their kin,
With a pardon for their past terrorist sins,
-- International socialist type -- win win.
No names of organizations mentioned,
In their hush hush terrorist conventions,
No names of officials who make decisions,
Still ongoing with regimental precisions.
No one had the guts to tell them to stop,
This politically correct terrorist drop,
We believe that they will do the right thing,
That we wont receive one terrorist sting.
How numb and naïve can Canadians be?
But Jean wrote the Charter for them "all" you see,
He wrote it for "everyone" in the world,
And they’re all coming here with flags unfurled.
This war on terrorism hasn’t sunk in,
Our politicians play the violin,
And Ottawa is very far away,
An isolation difficult to convey.
Can this situation be corrected?
Could something bad happen unexpected?
Should we believe in their majority rules?
Or wait around to be taken like fools?
