Two skinheads dine alfresco
On cheese and wine this day
Near an old Jew and a Muslim
Sharing a cod filet
Too, doth every ethnicity
And religion, too, per se
Enjoy the progressive ambiance
Of this open-air café
As do devoted couples
Several openly gay
A utopian eatery, no doubt
Might any observer say
But since conservative intolerance
Is the usual hateful sway
Could e’re Americans... anywhere
Embrace this accepting place?
