The Web Poetry Corner - J. M. Hallett - Supercilious Prig-Brain, Jane

Supercilious Prig-Brain, Jane

by

J. M. Hallett

Don't close your mind to everything
Or you'll miss some wondrous jewels.
Besides, who wants to go through life
A provincial little fool?
There's a whole big world out there
That doesn't revolve around you.
So crawl from your darkened tunnel
And let your light shine true.
There are green lizard-men about,
And conspiracy theories galore.
So abandon your myopic path,
Kick open those restraining doors,
And hop aboard a silver disc
And let your psyche soar.

NEXT?
Why don't you look at To Make Up Humanity
