Exercised by the lords
Of the petroleum industry
And their greed-fueled
Political lackeys
Corrupts our democracy
Overwhelmingly...
Completely
And it annihilates any ability
We may have had
To choose just how much
We are willing to sacrifice
In the name of prehistoric sludge
