The Web Poetry Corner - Indigo Larna - The Last Dance

The Last Dance

by

Indigo Larna

The party was glamourous
and wild. Old hearts had
backtracted to a child.

The rythmic party beat
went on. Nothing really
seemed to be wrong.

But in walks a ghostly figure
of black and white. Floating
across the floor it gave me
quite a fright.

And suddenly death fell apon
them in an instant glance.
And that is the story
of The Last Dance.
