Unfit Clay

She was unfit clay
Far from the righteous kind
Tainted soul, tainted blood
And men upon her mind

Lived a life of sin
Lived each day the same
I often cursed the blood
That carried her last name

She refused the clay she formed
Would that redeem, impure?
And when her casket lowered
I couldn't pray for her...
