The Web Poetry Corner - Helen Paquin - Seems

Seems

by

Helen Paquin

"I've seen you somewhere"
Isn't it a shame
When a mind draws a blank
On faces or a name?

When some go way too often
When often gone away
Could be you'll remember them
But it might not be today

It might not be tomorrow
Some minds can't be repaired
And you are lost to the mind
That one time deeply cared
