The Web Poetry Corner - Helen Paquin - Oh, No!

Oh, No!

by

Helen Paquin

Kids sure are funny
With what they do and say
If by chance you watch them
When they are at play

One day two little kids
Were playing
The boy combed
His sister's hair
Then he quickly spotted
Some strands of red hid there

Soon he became worried
And he told her of his fright
Said he,
"First there's brown
Then there's red-
Then your hair turns white"

NEXT?
Why don't you look at The King's Beard
