The Web Poetry Corner - Helen Paquin - Forever's Run

Forever's Run

by

Helen Paquin

I left there
Thought I left it behind
But no-
There it was again
Seems to be
So many of them
You run from one
And bump into another
That tantalizes
And agonizes
In so many bitter ways
You move-
And move again
To be free-
And again
Run into the Devil
