The Web Poetry Corner - Helen Paquin - 3 Haiku

3 Haiku

by

Helen Paquin

break for afternoon breather
releasing trapped sun

animals cross road
and the motor comes charging
glaring its madness

scared fawn runs from woods
away from hungry coy dogs
poor small thing, alone
