Just Good-bye... Or... The End?

by

Heather Nicole Luther

Is this the end?
Or is it just good-bye?
Without your laughs and cheer,
I know that I will cry.

Is this just good-bye?
Or is it the very end?
But if it is I won’t forget you,
And I’ll always love you, my friend.

But good-byes are just temporary
And we will see each other again,
And I’m hoping this is what this is
And we’ll still have conversations to begin.

However, if this is the end
And we never see each other any more,
I wish you the very best and I hope that you do well
And I will always love you, deep down from the very core.
