The Web Poetry Corner - Hay Machine - Killiney Beach
Killiney Beach
by
Hay Machine
Deep emerald stone set liquid in the early Summer sunlight
kissing the gravel shore with foaming mouth and boisterous delight
Killiney beach presents the bay and curving shore
a prayer from here to Bray and key to heaven's door
The Hill above the cliffs has seen the times reveal
what lower instincts treat as nature's litter there to steal
beg yourself to take the time and feed upon its gifts
before your sands descend and your situation shifts
