The Web Poetry Corner - Hay Machine - Homer Simpson

Homer Simpson

by

Hay Machine

Curvaceous yellowman
carrier of defective Simpson gene
donut and jelloman
roundbellied selfishness-machine

More than just a carikture
of pen and writer's shape
Homer strokes a part of us
that wounded open gape

He reassures and heals the victim
lurking in our souls
lifelike dissappointment
never reaching any goals

Homer gentle alien
full with wanting soul
three fingers slapped accross your head
D'OH! first cousin of Bob Dole
