behind closed eyelids

behind closed eyelids
dancers in the fire
strong sculpted hands of fire
molding faces
becoming one with the flame
climbing the mountain of hue
rebirthing out of spite
rising over chaos into pure
cool clouds
in an undertone to me
she whispers as we dance
