The Web Poetry Corner - Fred Mason - Your Eyes

Your Eyes

by

Fred Mason

Oh, you have the loveliest of eyes.
A hint of surprise, when you give that look,
as you glance at me from your book.

No words either spoken or said,
can say what you say.Your eyes say more instead.
And when they are closed they are like stars behind a curtain that does shield,
you inner thoughts like trees that boundary a field.
