A young lady named Veronica Stubbs.
Had most remarkable taste budds.
Her tongue being more sensitive than most.
Could sense from a mile away a whiff of toast.
Blindfolded she could guess.
Flavours as bland as watercress.
Soon both fame and fortune she had found.
And to her credit her name had become renowned.
But sadly enough she had been putting on weight
All this tasting had caused pounds of fat to generate.
"Oh dear.Oh dear".She expounded.
"My body has become extremely rounded".
"If only i had tasted and not swallowed".
"Into this predicament I would'nt have wallowed".
On to a diet she commenced with great zest.
But after a while, food, she began to detest.
Soon her body became thin and concave.
Doctors began to worry. Her condition became grave.
Upon her death bed experts began to consider.
Veronica's soul would it go to the highest bidder?.
Her heart pattern on the machine began to fluctuate.
The line went from pointy to very very straight.
Electric shocks plied their way.
Then. "Where am i.Where am i?"Her voice did thinly say.
Alive and well and back to normal.
Her eating habits became more formal.
Everything in moderation was her patter.
Strict accordance would stop her getting any fatter.
So ends the story of those remarkable taste buds.
That belonged to a young lady called Veronica Stubbs.
