To My Wife Prue.

Prue woke up suddenly with a start.
"I've just realized." She said with hand on heart.
"It's International Poetry Day."
"Write me a poem to make my heart sway."
So off went Fred ,ideas mulling away in his head.
He brought her crumpets, whil'st she rested in bed.
"What shall i write about,?" He asked,his mind bereft.
"You'd better hurry."Said Prue."Theirs only twenty-three hours left."
