The Moon and the Mountain.

by

Fred Mason

THE moon looked at the maintain in an questioning way.
"How come i go around and around, but in one place you stay?"
"How come i grow from fat to thin.Thin to fat?'
"It's because you are being chased by the sun".The mountain said."Thats the answer to that".

"If the sun did'nt chase you you'd grow so much,
that all the stars you would touch".
"And your moonlight would become so bright,
that we would have too much day and not enough night".
