The Web Poetry Corner - Fred Mason - Super Hero Dream

Super Hero Dream

by

Fred Mason

Tarzan was swinging from tree to tree.
When his telephone rang.Who could be?
"It's Robin Hood here.I say old chap,
were having a meeting of Super Hero's at our flat"
"Who else is coming?"Asked Tarzan.
"There's SuperMan,Biggle's,Jesus Christ and SpiderMan"
"And many, many more"
"Oh please come i do implore?"
"I'd love to come, but can i bring Cheeta and Jane?"
"Sure without them it would'nt be the same."

They all arrived at the flat at the centre of town.
Jesus was swopping yarns with Eric the Red and BO Bo the Clown.
Alaric the Goth was chiding Alexandra the Great,
about his last mistake.
Richard the Lion Heart was singing with Buffolo Bill.
Fryer Tuck and Bill Clinton were sitting on the window sill.
When all of a sudden i heard a voice say."Wake Up Fred".
"It's time to get out of bed"
