The Web Poetry Corner - Fred Mason - Raindrop.
Raindrop.
by
Fred Mason
A
rain
drop clings
to leafless branches
Rainbow colours it enhances
On a spiders web it slowly slides;
downwards ever downwards. Slowly very
slowly waiting for the end strand of cobweb.
It reaches it's destination without any damage or
any loss.Coldness sets in.Soon icicle's they
will be.If the wind blows now they will
be safer.Their colour changes as
they get colder.No more are
they clear.But frosted
like the snow.When
tomorrow comes
who knows
what.
