The Web Poetry Corner - Fred Mason - Midsummer Moon

Midsummer Moon

by

Fred Mason

Lancelot Moon sat on the edge of the horizon.
"It's a waste of time going up if it's cloudy".He thought aloud.
"Won't bring the romance out in men to make ladies swoon".
'Won't bring lovers together.Won't be enough light to pull a crowd".

Wallace Wind tapped him on the shoulder."I'll help you out my friend".
"A few puff puffs from me and those naughty clouds will scatter".
They soon were whisked away and Lancelot slowly began to ascend.
Soon young lovers were at it again and whispering their lovers patter.
