The Web Poetry Corner - Fred Mason - Marilyn's new job.

Marilyn's new job.

Fred Mason

Marilyn or "HOT BABE" as she is affectionaty known.
Works so hard and is not easily thown.
But today a job offer came her way.
She said "YES...This really makes my day'.

"Soon my artistic flair will be talked about around town".
"I'll be known as the 'Queen of Creativeness'and I'll wear a wearable art gown".

"I'll probably be chauffeured to and from work.And hey,
maybe a three hour lunch would be the order of the day".
"Flowers I'll just plonk in vases made of gold".
"Critics will say things like Brilliant.Daring and Bold".

"I'll always remember the friends who helped me years ago".
"Maybe a cursory glance.A casual wave,or a hasty hello".
"I'll always remember (Freddy Darling) for composing this little ditty".
"He tells the truth you know.I'm in "Happiness City".
