The Web Poetry Corner - Fred Mason - Marilyn's New Roadster.

Marilyn's New Roadster.

by

Fred Mason

"Toot.Toot." We could see Marilyn smiling from afar.
She arrived in her 'Racing Green'sports car.
Marilyn was so happy she was fizzing with excitement.
"When i sit,it almost cuddles me.Oh i'm so happy and content'.
"It's on the small side so I won't be shopping in ordinary places".
"From now on Darlings i'll shopping at boutiques like Macey's".
"Bruce will be looking at me after a shopping spree".
"He'll think his Little Darling won't be buying much."Yippee".
"But we know don't we.From now on i'll be buying things like silver and gold".
"I'm off now My Darlings. You'll be seeing me more often.Indeed fourfold".
