Lemonade Pies
by
Fred Mason
Two ounces of cuddles.
A bowl full of hug.
Your Teddy-Bear called Muddles.
Your favourite rug.
A teaspoon of giggles.
Two cups of polka-dots.
One cup full of wriggles.
A tablespoon of bunny-hops.
Mix all the cuddles and giggles together.
Add the polka-dots and the bowl full of hug.
With the bunny-hops add a sprig of heather.
Put all the rest in plus your favourite rug.
Leave the bowl on the windowsill for a short time.
And you are preparing for this surprise.
This Poet is struggling to find a word to rhyme.
Before you eat your Lemonade Pies.
