The Web Poetry Corner - Fred Mason - A voice from the past.

A voice from the past.

by

Fred Mason

Iv'e heard a voice from the past.
Fourty years ago i heard him last.
His hair has gone.He said.
My hairs still there, but white instead.

Old class mate's we talked about.
We'll meet again,i have no doubt.
I'll know him by his cheery smile.
Friends we'll be until the end of life's mile.
