There was that kiss again
whispering against my lips
in an ever-freshness
pressing shyly, gently lingering
sweet, deep promises enfolded
and a parting moment
timelessly extended

What forms that bond again
now, so much later
flown years, time lost in changes
must be her soft perfume wafting
from those breeze-stirred flowers
or the blue, as it quickly deepens
just over and beyond the mountains
