Saying It

While I said it
I knew I was not saying it
and that it required speaking beyond language
not a question of time or exactitude
spiraling in on a defined focus
creating a common frame of reference
or the building of contributory concept
nor question of lack of interest or attention
ability to assimilate or glean a vital locus

In retrospect it seems to me
to have been a question of intent
that in a greater focus
external to the participants
guided beyond will or determinism
an as yet unknown purpose
