Today was gentle celebration
as I guided your rising flame
fondly recognised your origin
and dream your destination

And though I light it once a year
the light flows in reflection
of your ever being near
in each dawn and dusk's perfection

Oh, Christopher, gently shining
there is knowing beyond feeling
and feeling beyond knowing
of hearts' eternal twining

You know, don't you
the infinite connecting flow?
cycles of souls questing true
uniting separate flames to grow?

We birth continually each other
the care within us striving longer
in sacredness of being mother
to bring the divine in growing stronger

You know don't you, my darling
the infinite connecting flow?
there burns flame beyond extinguishing
brightens gentle in the love we all shall know
