When You Think Of Me

When you think of me,
I hope it makes you smile,
and takes away your saddness,
for more than just a while.

At the mention of my name,
try not to shed a tear.
Remembering a moment lost in time,
that you once held dear.

Think of our life together,
not so long ago.
When our hearts were filled with laughter,
and our love did overflow.

I'd like to think that maybe,
because you loved me then,
that pieces of my memory,
come back to you again.
