Day after day,
the same as before.
Over and over,
it's an endless bore.

The hours pass slowly.
Life seems a chore.
Exhausted from today.
It's tomorrow once more.

Lost in the crowd,
of a working mans war.
I have to ask myself,
what's it all for?

What's it all for,
who's keeping score?
There better be a good reason,
I'm doing this all for.
