I feel some kind of pain,
an aching I can't explain.
It hurts me everywhere,
and it won't go away.

No kind of medicine,
can ease the way I feel.
No special remedies,
can ever make me well.

It's not that kind of pain.
This pain won't go away.
It's something deep inside,
that's surely going to stay.

A wound that cannot heal,
with time maybe it will.
But for a while you'll see,
what this pain has done to me.

It's that kind of pain.
The kind that always remains.
Behind a broken heart,
the pain of love,that kind of pain.
