The Web Poetry Corner - Estel Sowell - The Gleaning

The Gleaning

by

Estel Sowell

A memorial to all who have
plunged to their demise in
her watery depths...never
to be seen again.

Of dark
Glutinous shadows
Hanging flaccid
Beyond silky light
Wing-damaged fall
To rolling seas
As her current gleans
The dead
May God Bless Their Souls
