The Web Poetry Corner - Estel Sowell - Spineless

Spineless

by

Estel Sowell

Spineless creatures
Of the night
Run and hide
At the least sign of trouble
Daylight comes
And they scurry about
Like roaches
Thriving on darkness
They stand proud
Only to fall prey
To the light
