The Web Poetry Corner - Estel Sowell - Me

Me

by

Estel Sowell

Explosions gunshots
Dying sounds echo
Through the silence
Can't stop the voices
The crying noises
Vile diseased whispers
Thoughts of hatred
Scream sickening
Obscenities
Through the sensitive
Reaches of my mind
Despising my soul
With hell-spawn vengeance
A babe cries
In the distance
Growing ever stronger
Until i realize
The one crying
Is me
