The Web Poetry Corner - Estel Sowell - Essense

Essense

by

Estel Sowell

Crunching of the bones
The salty rush of crimson
Tickles my tongue
The aroma of her warm flesh
As it's ripped from her breast
Revealing a still beating heart
A strangled scream fades
Into gurgling noises
Echoing through my soul
With a vengeance
Her body writhes and twitches
In the throes of a dance
A macabre dance of death
Spiraling into oblivian
Smashing the dark caverns
Of my mind
Tantilizing my soul
With euphoric erotic
Desire of a lion
Fresh from the kill
I tear at her flesh
Reliving every moment
As I savour each morsel
Merging her essense
Into mine
