Despair

Swirling,spiraling;
spinning ever downward into the black
of impending gloom...
light flickers into night.
Growing dim as each moment passes,
dreams of happiness fade...
never to be seen again.
I'm lost in the dark
and afraid to venture out...
doomed to eternal
despair.
