The Web Poetry Corner - Estel Sowell - Crimson Sea
Crimson Sea
by
Estel Sowell
Into the crimson sea,
awash with many tears,
i cast my bottled sorrow
amidst her waves so dear.
-
I stand at her red shore
unsure of what to do.
My heart feels much despair
because of losing you.
-
Watching the ebb and flow,
this melancholy sea,
i can't stop asking why?
Why did this have to be?
-
Terror has struck our land
with no remorse it seems,
destroying many hopes
with hatred eyes that gleam.
-
Frigid heart of darkness
that speaks of Satan's charm,
holds Our Nation hostage-
esconced within his arms.
-
Osama Bin Laden,
evil of which i speak,
is nothing but a pawn
amongst many a creep.
-
With a look deeper still
into the Taliban,
Lucifer rules the roost,
and guides them with his hand.
-
Drifting as the bottle
into the crimson tide,
although,i feel alone,
i know God's by my side.
