The Web Poetry Corner - Estel Sowell - Beans

Beans

by

Estel Sowell

Ate a bowl of beans one day
Were so good i couldn't stop
So i grabbed another bowl
And filled it to the top
Ate so much i couldn't move
I was bloated through and through
Gas pangs hit with such a force
A hole in the floor i blew
So embarrassed by the blast
I ran away from the house
Hoped no one knew it was me
But my pants were all blown out
The moral to this story
Is don't eat too many beans
Or you will pay the price of
Blowing out most everything
