True Love?

What is true love anyway?

Is there even such a thing?

Is love wanting someone one day,

then leaving when the phone rings?

Or is love when you gaze into their eyes,

And you see all the lies?

Then you are so brokenhearted,

because you and him have parted.

Why can love be so special,

then turn into a nightmare?

That always seems to be the question,

but no one seems to have the answer.

I praise the people who have stayed together,

for what we call forever.
