The Web Poetry Corner - Emma - Louise Braiden - Reminisce

Reminisce

by

Emma - Louise Braiden

Run with the cool night air
Catch the swarming bugs
Sprawl on the crisp green grass
As soft as persian rugs

No one need know
That you are here
And they are faraway
'Cause this is your time
When dark is near
Make peace with the stars tonight

Twinkle in the deep blue sky
Sing your song to the trees
Make a wish, you don't have long
Then brush the dust from your knees.
