Vanquished

The child's tears briefly washing away the pain
The crumbled ruins of wars insanity
Flashing, smoke a broken pipe but still no water runs
the heat haze of a dessert day
harsh under the Afghany sun the soldiers passes by
they spoken in foreign tongue of war
they spoke of justice to make trial for something wrong
the child knows little other then his fathers dead
His mother huddles in the reminants of rumbled hell
The soldiers left the other day the same way they came
they brought pain in search of justice
To defeat the devils own
They left a mother and child without a home
a war of words of sorrow
a world without tommorrow
A holy war for whom all are victims
the terror on their own.
