The Web Poetry Corner - Elizabeth J. Langley - Penned

Penned

by

Elizabeth J. Langley

A poet writes in black and white
In hopes of feelings to ignite
Passion, Pleasure, Joy and shame
In each flourish exquisite pain
Words, WORDS, Words to drive insane
For its words that make the poets day
Its words that paint verbal bouquet
To each and every soul that reads
A taste of life through writers guild
A poet is the sharman of words
Sometimes spoken, not always heard
But rest assured the story told
In verse or rythm a story bold
for all its readers to behold
A laugh, a tear, a sombre moment.
