The Web Poetry Corner - Eddie Tacub - Pure Sadness

Pure Sadness

by

Eddie Tacub

A beautiful black queen
Attitude so nice but never mean
You we're a friend
Everyone wish they had
To see you gone, I'm deeply sad
For you to get shot
That should never be
For all the wrongs things that I did
That should've been me
Why would God take you so soon
Now you're resting in a silent tomb
I still remember the last time we talked
Now your last time on earth ended
With your body surrounded with chalk
The last time we talked I gave you a hug
Everything we went through
I'll cherish it with love
Atleast now I know you're resting
With "Our Father ABove"

NEXT?
Why don't you look at Tejeré nuevas ilusiones
