I envision the sunset of the Age
As the last golden gleam of man's conscience
Fades beneath the swirling seas of excess and confusion

With a pale lifeless afterglow.

Dark clouds arise and gather
Like the thoughts of some angry god
Brooding over a wasted day.

The barbed arrows of divine wrath
Fly their peerless course thru the whirlwind
Raining fire

Scorching disobedient offspring.

Earthshattering judgements sound
And the sky is rolled back.

Looking on
We glimpse the end.
