Nature's Gift

by

Dwayne Pagnotto

Your eyes are made up of tiny blue snow crystals
Which the sun has touched
But not yet melted into the tears of spring.

Your voice is filled with innocent songs of love
Like those which float down softly
When the angels sing.

Your hair is made from the purest honey
Gently it flows down in rich golden curls
Framing a face as lovely as a child's
And falling about shoulders of glowing pearl.

Your lips are moist all covered in dew
In the morning they taste fresh and sweet
Like the nectar from wild strawberry blossoms
Which passing butterflies stop to eat.

Your caress fills my soul with magic and wonder
Like a falling star
Or a moonbeam bright
As you gently brush my skin with your fragrance
Like a rose petal lifted by a breeze in the night.

Then i watched as you drifted on by me
And knelt down to pick up a wish of mine
That did'nt come true
In your hands you took it
And with a kiss it floated upwards
Showering the air with memories of you.

Dedicated to a girl I loved
NEXT?
Why don't you look at Bounty
