This year
Is that all your dreams come true

I wish I could be
A part of those dreams
But something always happens
To ruin my schemes.

On whom you depend
I offer you this Holiday wish
As a friend.

Over a careless lover.
If it does, may a kind friend
Help you recover.

May health and success
Always be yours.
With someone polite
To open your doors.

For the things you are missing.

In a good night's kissing.

Never fade.
I hope you stay just as lovely
As the day you were made.

There is one more thing
For which I hope and pray.
