Longings Beyond Time

What strange misshapen shadows be these?
Dancing in the mooonlight beneath the trees.

Perhaps Elder wood spirits the sun never sees.
Their playful laughter hidden in the whispering breeze

Sings a soft haunting lullaby to the sleeping leaves.
Secretly we watch this mysterious veil they weave

A magic ballet of starlight to comfort souls who grieve
While they wait with calm knowledge for Eden to overfreeze.
