Your lustrous hair is soft and silky, interwoven with strands of golden light.
Framing your presence with an aura of beauty, glimmering and ever-bright.

Your eyes are very gentle like those of a dove
With just a glance you enfold me in the wings of your love.

Your caress is more tender than a baby's touch
That is why I wish you would hold me so much.

Your skin is purer than the unbroken snow
I weep in the sunlight to see you go.

Your voice is softer than the cry of my heart
Which withers like a flower each time we must part.

Your lips taste like a blossom which in paradise grew
So that your kisses are eternally sweet and new.

Wherever you go you leave a fragrance behind
The alluring scent of tamarisk honey on which the goddesses dine.

As your cheeks tinge faintly with a springtime blush
All of nature grows quiet in a sacred hush.

Then while I lay in the grass gazing up at the sky
I could hear you sing me a soft lullaby.

As my soul became sad and I drifted off to sleep
You wiped a tear away, and left me a dream of you to keep.
